Biography
With a cumulation of over five years of experience in the legal field, Miranda Rubio found her passion for a career in this field while working as an intern for the Civil Division at the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. Upon her graduation with her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, she accepted a job with the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office as a Legal Assistant. Shortly after participating in this role, she was promoted to Civil Division Paralegal. While working as a Paralegal for the Civil Division, Miranda attended Texas State University’s Legal Studies Graduate Program and graduated from said program in May of 2021 with her Master of Arts in Legal Studies degree and a Paralegal Certification.
During her time at the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, Miranda was involved in various matters, including, Child Protective Services cases, Asset Forfeiture cases, Bond Forfeiture cases, Expunctions, Non-Disclosures, and responding to public Open Records Requests.
Miranda has been working for Huckaby Hicks, PLLC, since December of 2023. She works hard to assist clients promptly and to provide support during one of the most difficult times in their lives. She is a dog mom of two and enjoys spending time with her family and friends during her free time.
