Meet Our Paralegal, Paulina Garcia
While a graduate student at Texas State University in 2015, Paulina had the pleasure of interning with the Civil Division at the Hays County District Attorney’s Office working closely under Angie doing various aspects of civil law such as child protection cases, asset forfeitures, bond forfeitures, and mental health cases. Upon her graduation in May of 2016, with her passion for child protection law and serving others, Paulina joined the Civil Division of the Hays County District Attorney’s Office as a paralegal.
As the newest paralegal, Paulina was paired with Whitney establishing their 6-year attorney-paralegal dynamic duo at the District Attorney’s Office. Paulina drafted countless pleadings, orders, motions, prepped for countless jury trials, and built an excellent working relationship with individuals inside and outside of the office. Paulina has an established and professional relationship with court staff, opposing counsel, law enforcement, Child Protective Services personnel, and county employees. Paulina prides herself in producing excellent results in her work product and relationships she creates in her professional capacity.
Paulina has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Legal Studies from Texas State University. Among handling a full-time job, Paulina is also seeking her second Master’s degree from Texas A&M University in Health Care Law and Policy. She hopes to attend law school so she can be an advocate for social justice in the courtroom one day. During her free time, Paulina enjoys traveling, spending time with her fur babies, pickleball, and being at Kyle Field cheering on her Fightin’ Texas Aggies – GIG ‘EM!
